North Training provides a range of business skills workshops and coaching services for business professionals and executives. Another product we offer is English language training including preparation for the Cambridge CAE, BEC, ILEC and ICFE exams. Our products can be combined into a comprehensive long-term agreement with our clients.

Our history
Shaun North set up North Training s.r.o. in 2009 to provide people in the Czech Republic with professional communication and management training. He first came to the Czech Republic in 1996 and worked for the first 5 years as an EFL teacher. After this he worked in a range of management positions in both the Czech Republic and Germany. During this time he realised how important professional communication skills were.
It is not enough for people who are not native speakers of English to simply be able to ‘communicate’ with others in business. Those who are serious about being a real success need to develop a range of skills beyond being able to ‘speak English’. They need to be able to communicate and behave in ways which meet and where possible exceed the expectations of their contacts and peers.
Therefore our company builds on the language skills that individuals have learnt so that they can be used to maximum effect in the world of business. Because our workshops are for people who have higher levels of English, they are suitable for individuals from all cultures, as well as native speakers of English. In our opinion the greater the mix of people in the workshops, the greater the opportunity to share experiences and learn from each other.
For those individuals and firms who are not yet proficient enough in English we do provide English language training. As with all our training, we provide this training to those who wish to stand out from the competition and excel in their work and business.
